Brandon Martin Obituary

BRANDON EARL MARTIN, 23, of Memphis, son of Marvin Martin and Robin McCray, member of Greater Life Missionary Baptist Church, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at The Regional Medical Center. He will lie in state Saturday, July 1 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1234 Pisgah Road in Cordova from 11 a.m.-12:55 p.m., with Funeral Ceremony at 1 p.m., Pastor Basil Brooks officiating. Interment to follow in church cemetery. He also leaves his daughter, Brianna Martin; his sister, Stacie McCray; his brother, Quincey Martin; his grandmother, Ida B. Martin; his stepmother, Stacey Foster, all of Memphis; a special man like his father, Sylvester Shotwell of Cordova, TN; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Brandon,It seems like it was just yesterday when we stayed up numerous of nights laughing and talking about anything.You always had so much to say.I was so proud of you when you started your last job. I want to let Robin and Marvin know how truly sorry I am for the loss of Brandon. My heart aches for Brianna because I know how much she loves her daddy.
