So sorry. A good man that everyone loved. My earliest memories are of him and my dad coaching our basketball teams at Raleigh Baptist. Mr Cecil will truly be missed. Prayers for all of you!

Cecil always put a smile on your face. Easy to talk to on many subjects, we especially enjoyed talking about cotton and Front Street. Rest in peace Cecil

I will miss passing Cecil in the break room at Mallory. He always had a smile on his face, remembered my name, and would ask me about cotton.
I even parked in his parking spot one day and he quickly, kindly and jokingly let me know that was where he liked to park, so I had to remember to choose another parking spot.
We always enjoyed his wonderful vegetables he so generously shared from his garden.
Mallory won't be quite the same without Cecil.
Sending deepest condolences and prayers,
Jo Nell Long

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1 -- May the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. 2 Thessalonians 3:16
