What a wonderful example of what a real man should be like! When our church worshiped at Springdale, I came to know Deacon Fondren as a wonderful example of a Christian man. He was always welcoming to our church family. In addition, he was a sharp dresser! May you always have pleasant memories and rest assured that God has only reclaimed what was His own.

David and Jackie were the first to welcome me into the family when James and I were dating. My children and I have been truly blessed to become a part of such a warm and loving family. Uncle David will be surely be missed but we have many many wonderful memories to cherish.

To the entire Fondren Family, I want you to know that my heart is heavy this week as if I am part of the family. To Gale, my friend & co-worker, I want you to know that I am here for you as well as Jakie, Jan & Ashley. Just remember Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal! And although we say we mourn your loss, when you know where someone is, they aren't really lost. Mr. Fondren has gone to his Heavenly home & he was ready! R.I.P. Mr. David Fondren!!!

Look to the hills which cometh your help, All your help comes from The Lord, Jackie may The Lord comfort you and your entire family at this time of sorrow, David was such a joy to have known I met him in 2007 at the bank on Ridgeway and he also came to see me when I moved to the Trinity branch in Cordova. When I told him I was born in Batesville Ms he said that we might be cousins, He was such a happy soul may he rest in peace and will be missed much.

Dave was such a joy to have around I met him in 2007 and seem that I have known him all my life especially when I told him I was born in Batesville Mississippi he would always say that I might be his cousin. He always wore a smile and he will be missed coming into the bank.

I remeber how welcome David made me and my family feel when I was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. He always had a smile and was a joy to be around. Jackie, Janet, Gale and Cedric. He is gone from your presence, but never from your hearts.
