As I write these words, it has only been a few short weeks since Dee and I were able to express our loving friendship to one another. I am so blessed to have shared that with my lifelong friend and know we will be together again. I know that time will never fully heal this sorrow I feel for the loss of my friend, Dee, and my heart goes out to her family in sympathy. You have my prayers always and forever. She is at peace.

Mercedes,

Yall are in my family's thoughts and prayers. We were all very fond of your mom, and I will always remember her quick witted humor and laid back attitude. Take care and stay strong, things will get better soon!
