Deborah Hugghis Obituary
Memphis, TN
Deborah K. Hugghis, 59 of Memphis passed on February 7, 2017. After 35 years she retired from the Shelby County School System. Visitation will be Friday, February 10, at M. J. Edwards Airways Chapel from 5 to 8 P.M. Funeral Service will be Saturday, at Greater Open Door Baptist Church, 1537 Florida Ave with interment in Memorial Park Southwoods. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Christopher Hugghis and a host of loving family and friends.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I taught Deborah in Memphis Literacy Academy and coached her. She left us much too soon and will be missed by so many, but she provided a wonderful legacy of her caring and dedicated work with children. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

My sincere condolences for your loss. My memories of Deborah started 13 years ago when we met. I always felt that we were sisters because when ever I needed to talked to someone I knew she would listen . I can hear her laughing now and being the role model any girl would be proud to have . I will miss her as you will but God Knows best.
