I remember him well as my ROTC instructor when I was in the 10th grade at Treadwell High School. He always was a great leader and teacher. Prayers of peace for his family.

I remember Sgt Freeman fondly as the lead instructor of ROTC at Treadwell HS, and as the Beach Manager at Lakeland Playland where I worked with Don and Patricia. He was always a favorite teacher, instructor, and manager.

As a ROTC cadet at Treadwell, he provided much insight to life. Because of him, my military career helped form me into I am today. God bless you Sgt. Freeman .

Sgt Freeman was an outstanding instructor at Treadwell in Memphis, TN while I was a student there. He genuinely cared about his students and was a glowing example of what a teacher is supposed to be.

Prayers for the family to be comforted in your loss.

He was an individual, a man that helped prepare me for life. Stern but fair. I live not to very far from Treadwell School. Often I look at the outward facing door where the ROTC dept. was. I remember him "coaching" us into some sort of organized group. Now I think, looking back, when we left school, because of him we all walked in step.

Sarge because of you I decided to join the Army. What an experience. Loved it. I was told that you gave a fantastic recommendation to Federal Agents when I was going through a tough security clearance. Being accepted I enjoyed my service throughout this world.

I enjoyed being with Mr Freeman as his home heath nurse. He and I had many enjoyable conversations and I always learned something new each time I visited him. He will be remembered for a long time. My prayers and thoughts are with the family...Charles Callis RnBsn
