Danny, Preacher and I would like to extend our condolences to you and your family. We didn't know her personally, but Vince has talked about her so much that we felt that we knew her. Dear Danny, Kathy, Lucas, Bridge and I are so sad to hear the news about Doris. Doris, was always a special friend of the Leigh Family. Her Dad, Dan, helped keep us straight as a child growing up, here in Hernando, Dan always made you do things the right way, not the easy way. I guess he taught Doris the same sort of things. She was a special southern lady, and it was always just a pleasure to run into her, where ever we happened to be, Kroger, Gas Station, Coleman's, or the Bank. We were always excited to see her, knowing we were fixing to hear a nice story about something. Miss Jo, Miss Olivia, Miss Fanny, all the ole telephone office crews, they all have told us what a pleasure it was to work around Doris at the Telephone Company all those years. That was back when you plugged in each telephone call to a certain hole on the telephone board, nothing was automatic. They fought that battle all those years. Doris was such a sweet person, we know your heart is so broken. Our thoughts and prayers, Danny, are with you buddy. We love you. You will be ok, God will take care of you.
