GEORGIA KEMPER Obituary

Olive Branch - GEORGIA LEE ROY KEMPER passed away on August 24, 2012 at her residence, Oakleaf Village Assisted Living. Memorial service will be held at Cross Creek Church, 4105 Goodman Rd. Olive Branch, MS at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 1. Survived by daughters, Beverly Cherico and Brenda (Wayne) Ingram; grandchildren, Richard (Crystal) and Elizabeth Cherico, Brittany (Micah) Phillips, Brianna Ingram Hines, Jacob and Brooke Ingram, and two great grandchildren, Kenny and Olivia Cherico. Also survived by sisters, Juanita, Janet, JoAnn (Frank), Bobbie and brother, Howard (Linda) Roy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Kemper, her mother, Anne Roy Morris, her sister, Jackie, and brothers, Travis and Billy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Associaton at 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601.

I did not know my Aunt Georgia other than seeing her at scattered family reunions. But my Mother Jane (not Janet) shared many stories about her oldest sister.
