Cordova, TN
Ida L. Palmer, 92, wife of the late Leander J. Palmer, Jr. and daughter of the late Ed (Ida Fields) Lovelace, expired September 29, 2016 at her residence in Cordova TN. Visitation Wednesday, October 5 from 1-4 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Services Thursday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with burial in Melton Cemetery all in Mason, TN. She leaves three children: Janis (Andrew) Knox of Cordova, Gale (Bryon) Turner of Cleveland, OH , Dwayne Palmer of Mason, three generations of grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

I will never forget Ms. Ida Palmer. She was a blessing to me as a child growing up on Sinai Drive. I use to have so much fun playing with Michael growing up. She was still a blessing to me as I got older. I'll never forget open her living room to me to practice the piano. She was a wonderful Sunday School teacher and neighbor. Her spirit lives on and she touched many lives. I will forever keep her in my heart.

IP. Gracious, gentle, classy, elegant, articulate, caring, intellectually sharp and generous are just a few of the adjectives that could be used to describe her and her life.
