"H" was simply one of the best. Outstanding pilot, patient mentor, and always an entertaining, intelligent gentleman. His influence on dozens of young airline pilots helped careers over several decades. That easy, individual laugh made many a long hour in the Martin 404 pass much faster. I value and appreciate the time I was fortunate enough to spend with him, and he will truly be missed.

Bill was such a gentleman. He was the Captain on a overnight with me when my Dad passed away suddenly during the night. He gave me comfort and made sure I got back to Memphis. I have never forgotten his kindness, or ever will. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family. May our Lord comfort his family during this time.
