I, along with several other gals, played on Capt Carters baseball team and he was great to play for and work with. We always saw him at the Fair and always with a smile. Last time I saw him was at Sams and he and Nancy were there. Great memories.

Was a great commander to work for while he was over the TACT Unit.He will be missed by everyone that knew him. I hope he still had the TACT coin I got for him at the reunion. He may need to take it with him so the ones that have gone before will have to buy the drinks. RIP friend.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy and family. Larry and I loved Jimmy Carter. I could write about some many memories and stories we shared over the years with Captain Carter. I will miss our conversations while shopping at Kroger and just his great smile. God bless and peace be with the family.
