James McAnear

Germantown, TN

James McAnear, 83, of Germantown, passed from this life Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital. He was born April 12, 1933 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Earl and Ida McAnear.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ann McAnear; 2 daughters, Coletta (James) Morsey, Lisa (Jerry) Autry; 4 grandchildren: Lauren (Jeffrey) Holmquist, T.J. Morsey, Chelsea and Chase Autry and great granddaughter, Jubilee Holmquist.

Funeral Service will be Monday, October 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bruce Venable officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.

For lasting memorials the family asks that consideration be given to First Baptist Care Center, 701 S. Main St., Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
