JOHN HENRY PARKER

Reverend John Henry Parker, 95 went home to be with his Savior Saturday, March 26, 2011 from Harbor View Nursing & Rehab. Reverend Parker was pastor emeritus where he served as pastor of Armstrong Street Church of God for over 52 years in Batesville, MS. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home. He leaves to cherish his loving memory a wife of 36 years, Juanita Parker; three daughters: Ora Lee Davis of Whitsfield, IN, Flossie Russ of Minneapolis, MN and Virginia Ann Harper (Edward) of Marlboro, NJ; three sons, Norris Batts (Mary) of Oshkosh, WI, Howard Batts of Minneapolis, MN and W.H. (Liberty) Batts Jr. of Panorama City, CA; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and His Armstrong Street Church Family. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, from 12-3 p.m. at R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home and 5-7 p.m. at Armstrong Street Church of God. Homegoing Celebration Service will be Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 12 noon at the Armstrong Street Church of God, 400 Armstrong St., Batesville, MS with Interment in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Ella M.
