I had the privilege to work with Karen at Ridgeway High School where she was the CLUE instructor. She was a consummate educator, a lively conversationalist, always challenging in her ideas and opinions. She was a credit and an asset to all the faculties of which she was a part. What a joy to have known her.

Passionate and sincere about teaching and enlightening her students, Karen encouraged tolerance in society and developing / supporting stances that one takes.
A former colleague, she will be missed.
