Dear Kent and Katherine & family,
We were deeply saddened by the news of your father passing away last week. We were out of town and only learned of this news last night at church.
We know how much you respected and loved your dad, and we know you will miss him terribly. No one tells us much about death when they tell us the facts of life. Yet, as believers, we know God sees every tear we shed, He hears the cries of our heart, and He welcomes us "home" when this life is over, if we belong to Him. Even though we can't be there with you, please know we are praying for your entire family. Our thoughts are turned toward you in this time of grief. With our love and deepest sympathy - Joe and Sharon
