Robert Murphree Obituary

ROBERT F. “Bob” MURPHREE, JR., 64, resident of Lakeland, retired partner and owner of Mid American Commodities and United States Air Force veteran died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at his residence. Services will be at 11 a.m.. Saturday at thePeebles West Funeral Chapel on Highway 64 at Oakland. Graveside services, with Military Honors, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bethany Cemetery atTishomingo, MS. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Peebles West Chapel. Mr. Murphree was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and activities that involved his grandchildren. Survivors include his sons, David Ward Murphree (Terri) of Lakeland and Wes Murphree (Kimberly) of Jonesboro, AR; his sister, Mary Chrisman of Little Rock, AR; and his grandchildren, Chris Horton, Kayla, John, Tassie Lee and Kathleen Murphree.
