To the Ashenfelter Family,
Sending you all of the prayers and sympathy in this time of sorrow. I am truely shocked to hear that my cousin has passed at such a young age. Although much time and distance has kept us separated, I have fond memories of family gatherings from many years past of our youth and young adulthood. May God hold your hands and hearts at this time. With the highest regards, Frances (Lewis) Shambarger

Dear Anita, Brett, and Kaylin,
I was shocked to hear about Roger. Amanda saw the sad news on Brett's facebook.
I have fond memories of our Ayusa days. Roger was the calm in the storm, wasn't he?! You were blessed with a wonderful husband and father.
Anita, please keep in touch. We were just in Knoxville a week ago to visit John's sister. The next time we come through, we will come to see you, if you send me your address in TN.
Meanwhile, I will hold all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot begin to tell you how saddened we are here in Texas.
Fondly,
Cherian Lautermilch

Anita, Brett, and Kaylin,
We are so sorry to hear about Roger. He was a great man, husband, father and friend. He was first and foremost a family man. We are praying for your family.

Anita and girls,
So sorry to hear about Roger. I know we haven't talked in years, but I have kept up with you all. The double loss in months must be hard. I am just a few miles away or a phone call. Lets get talk.
