MY sincere condolence to the family of Tom.I last visited with him when his Career was first budding in Livermore Falls,Me.He always had a unique approach to problem solving, but maybe with his humor,he never considered them problems. He and I shared a room for three years at UMO, and I remember him as a kind and great friend and brother.

I was sorry to learn of Tom's death. We worked together at the University of Tennessee Child Development Center (now the Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities) for a number of years. He was one of the smartest and funniest people I ever knew. But more than that, he was a good friend, and I will miss him.
