W. A. PIKE, 88, of Memphis, died May 22, 2008 at home. He was retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company after 30 years, a member of Colonial Park Methodist Church, and he was a veteran of WWII. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Hill Gardens. He leaves his wife of 67 years, Ann Elizabeth Pike; daughter Sandra Sugg (Wermund) of Germantown, TN; sisters, Alice Miley of Collins, MS, Veneda Armstrong of Yuma, AZ; grandchildren, Adam Sugg of Memphis, Wermund Sugg, Jr. of Germantown.
