Delores:
Bill was a sweetheart and such a gentlemen! He will be missed and in my thoughts always as will you. He left quite an impression on Shy that morning we saw you guys at Perkins. She still has the $1 bill he gave her and she knows the names of the lovely couple that gave it to her. Please take care and I will see you soon. Nancy Howland

Delores, you know how much Bill ment to me, we met when he came to Snowden School in the 5th grade. He and Frank Thorn were good friends. I was so glad when you two moved back to Memphis and could be a part of our Tech group. Wanted you to know how much Bill loved you, he told me several times that you were always in his thoughts when he was in the war zone and the reason that he would get back safe and sound. If all of us could have someone to love us like Bill did you. Remember I am only a phone call away, and will be with you in the Spring when we bury Bill. He was a very special friend. LOVE, Corney

Delores, AS Esther said Bill ment so much to many of us. We met a Snowden School back in the 5th grade. He and Frank Thorn were good buddies at that time. I wish I could have had in my life someone to love me as much as Bill loved you. He always told me how much your ment to him. The thoughts of you are what kept him sahe when he was in the war zones. This made him sure that he would ge back safe. God had you both in his plan to be together again in marriage as it happened. You will survive, you are strong. Just remember I am only a phone call away. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. We will be with you at Bill's burial in the Spring. Love Corney PIttman

Delores, you know how much Bill meant to me. We were friends since the 7th grade on.... He was such a special friend, my confidant, and good buddy. Words cannot express how much I will miss him. We shared many years of memories. He always told me how much he loved you and always wanted to look after you and care for your every need. He will be looking down from Heaven now to care for you. With Bill and the Lord looking after you, you will be a survivor. Bill would want you to be strong. You are also very special to me. We shall all meet in Heaven one day, and oh, how joyous that will be. My love to you and your family. Love, Esther Scott

Delores, I share your sorrow in Bill's passing. He was such a good and loyal friend. He was always there for us when my Bill was sick and went to be with the Lord. You're in my prayers. You'll never be alone - God will never leave you. Your tears are precious to Him, He saves every tear in a little bottle. He will comfort you.

Delores,I remember Bill so fondly. Being a friend of Connie Pittman, I met Bill early on when I came to Saturday dinners, etc. You and Bill were so special to me and many other people. So sorry he is gone, but being a believer, I know you understand the precious peace and comfort he feels now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family. God Bless.
