Alice Grandmont Obituary
Born in Concord, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Gelinas) DuGuay. Alice was raised and educated in Suncook and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy and Mount Saint College. Alice was a dedicated teacher for 25 years. She taught at Allenstown Elementary, Strafford Elementary and St. John Regional School. And was a volunteer for many organizations.
Alice was a loving mother of four children, Richard Grandmont and his partner, Jane, of Dunbarton, Michael Grandmont and his wife, Charlotte, of Bradford, David Grandmont and his wife, Joyce, of Barnstead and Anna Marie Grandmont Bommelaere of Dunedin, Fla. She was also a loving and fun grandmother of four, and a very special great-grandmother of 10.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a memorial service Saturday, July, 20, at 11 a.m. at Faith Tabernacle, 164 East Side Drive, Concord.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Alice's memory to Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, 03054. or Faith Tabernacle, 164 East Side Drive, Concord, 03301.

To all of Alice's family,
Alice was my next door neighbor in Henniker. What a light she was in my life. So kind, loving, genuine and generous. Then, when she moved to White Rock earlier this year, I was thrilled to be able to spend time with her in her new place. Alice always spoke so lovingly of her family. It was such a joy to hear her stories, and see the pride in her face. I will miss her and am sorry that I could not make the service today. You are all in my prayers.
