Dear Gunnar,

I was deeply saddened to read of your mother Anna's passing in the Concord Monitor online.

I'm sure she was a wonderful woman, and I know how much you will miss her. I lost my mother Lorraine on December 29th, 1999, and it will always be the saddest day of my life.

Once your grief has lessened, you will see subtle signs that she never really ever left your side, that she is still with you,
watching over you with so much love.

I never forgot you Gunnar, in all of these years. I was a student in Kirk Spofford's Junior English Class at Bishop Brady in 1975. You took over his class, and you, and Kirk, were both wonderful teachers. Teachers that a student remembers for a lifetime.

My sister Marsha also rented your parents home on Auburn Street at one time.

My thoughts, and my prayers, are with you Gunnar, and with your sister Deborah, and with all of your family at this very sad time.

May all of the remaining days of your life bring you
good health, and many blessings.
my best always,
Jeffrey Bonk

To Anna's Family - so sorry to read about her passing. She was my favorite high school teacher and very influential in the career path I chose. A truly amazing lady!

Deborah and Brett my Prayers go out to you and your family. Your Lovely Mother was my Teacher in high school 46 years ago, she was a lovely lady with a heart. I loved being in her class she taught us all well. She will be missed by all. No matter how many times I saw her in stores after that she always said HI!! but she'd call me my sister's name. Which at least she knew what family I came from. lol Again my Prayers are with you and yours.
