Constance "Connie" Leduke

1942 - 2016

CHICHESTER – Constance "Connie" Anger Leduke, 74, of Chichester, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She died after a long battle with COPD. 

Born in Woonsocket, R.I. she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Anger and the late Germaine Desrosiers Anger. 

Besides being survived by her husband of 54 years, Edgar J. Leduke, she leaves her son, Edgar R. and his wife, Karen Abate Leduke; and grandchildren, Jordan Greenfield of Deerfield, Megan, Cooper and Piper Leduke of Northwood.  She also leaves her daughter, Robin Pratt Ekstrom and her husband, Kurt Ekstrom and Connie's grandson, Alex Pratt of Chichester.  She leaves a sister, Lorraine Boisvert and the late, Richard Boisvert of Cameron, N.C.; brother, Robert and his wife, Marie Laporte Anger of East Hartford Conn.; and brother-in-law, Willie Leduke and his wife, Cindy; and many nieces and nephews. 

Connie graduated from the Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, in 1960.  After her children went to school, she became a den mother for Cub Scouts and an assistant Girl Scout Leader for many years.  She worked at Electronic Molding for 11 years and the CVS home office in the accounts payable department and retired after 17 years and moved to New Hampshire.  Connie loved playing cards and games, square dancing, bowling, camping, making jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, sewing and loved watching her grandkids play baseball and football.  She was a great lover of animals and especially loved her cats. 

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, Nov. 6, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester with a memorial service from 2 to 3 p.m.
