Prayers for Gerald's family. I was Gerald's guidance counselor when he attended North Country Jr. High in Derby, VT. He was a sweet boy cared for so kindly by Joe and Veda Ryan who always came to see that Gerald was doing what he should in school. I am sure he grew up to a man they would be proud of. I am very sorry for your loss.

I will always remember Gerald as a sweet, nice quiet and caring person. He has always held a special place in my heart. In school I was too shy to really talk to him but none the less he touched my life in a special way. I am sorry for the loss I hope he has found peace, he deserves it RIP.

Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
