My mom and I have fond memories of conversations with "Uncle Jim." Jim's brother, Tom, was my uncle (via marriage). We talked with him when he was visiting my Aunt Lynn in the hospital. He was a kind and caring person who will be missed. -- Cathy & Shirley Coleman

Dear Pauline, Mike, Rachelle, James and Mackenzie...
I am so sad about the passing of 'Pop' that very special man that brightened up our lives at the many get togethers when Mike lived across the street. Those were wonderful times when friends were family and gatherings meant laughter and many stories around the fire pit!! More than that, I am sad that I cannot attend the memorial services to give you all a hug and celebrate because of recent surgery. I do plan to do that at some time in the future and hope we can all get together to once again tell stories that make us laugh, smile and even cry ......you are a special family and I am blessed to know you.
Much love,
Claudia

Dear Pauline and family--Jim always made me laugh--what a great sense of humor he had. I remember your beautiful wedding and I truly think it was the prettiest one I ever attended. It was an honor to be one of your bridesmaids. We had some great get togethers in the Hillsboro area. Jim invited me to go golfing at Torrey Pines in Francestown along with your cousin, Brenda and her hubby from Canada, many laughs that day. Another memory--I had gone to Myrtle Beach with friends of mine who owned a condo there and we went to the House of Blues on Fat Tuesday, afterward we stayed to listen to the band play. At eleven oclock we decided to leave, I opened the exit door and bumped headlong into Jim, what a shock so he invited me to join him and his gang from Concord I had not seen Barry Caldon for years---amazing. Jim was such a swell person and a wonderful family man--he will be missed but not forgotten.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. I worked with Jim prior to his retirement and have bumped into him now and again over the years. Jim motivated me to not give up skiing and I enjoyed skiing Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee with he and his posse and the New Hampshire Ski Club in 2001. In more recent years, while teaching skiing at Pats Peak, I would see him on a school night chauffeuring a grand kid or two to ski lessons. Jim always had a smile in his eyes, a positive outlook, and a laugh in his voice.

I feel great sympathy for all the Angwin family. I want to say I'm sorry to all of you for having to suffer through such an enormous and shocking loss. I was never fortunate enough to meet Mr. Angwin but I can clearly see what a fun, wonderful man he was and it is also easy to see that he is leaving behind a bright, fun-loving legacy in his children and grandchildren. The obituary, including the lovely photo, is a very well written tribute to a great man.
