John Vignati epitomized a suburb and wonderful physician; knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate. It is my honor and privilege that John and I were professional colleagues. Most important John was my close friend. John passed away much too early. I miss him dearly. Rest In Peace my good friend.

John was a truly remarkable man! He twice saved my life and career. I shared his passion for the Yankees and we joked about being Yankee fans in Red Sox nation. I will always remember his compassion not only for his patients but all people. I know that he is heaven and talking with the Babe and other Yankee greats. We have lost a wonderful man but heaven has gained a Guardian Angel who will always be looking out for us!!

Dear. Dr. Viganti's family,
I wanted to send a note to you to tell you how amazing Dr. Vignati was to my Mom (Barbara Lambert). He was so cute with her and made her smile and laugh everytime she went to see him. They had a great chemistry! She felt so comfortable with him and you could tell he really cared about her and her well-being. It was refreshing to see. She felt his kindness. She went through a lot, healthwise and it was nice to see a Doctor take the extra time to listen and take his time with her. I went with her to her appts. the last year, before she passed in 2016 and I understood, right away, why she loved him so much! I was so glad that I got to meet him. It was a pleasure. I could tell right away that he was genuine and kind. He made me feel comfortable as well, with all my questions. You could tell that he loved being a Doctor. He was the full package; a brilliant surgeon, compassionate person with amazing bedside manner. You cannot get any better than that. He definitely left an impression to many people for sure. I am so sorry for your loss and the communties loss. He will be greatly missed. Susan Marcoux

I am so sorry to hear about John’s passing. I was a classmate at Holy Cross and crossed paths with him at the Health Center in Farmington. I never knew he was sick. I haven’t been in contact with John in decades, but the kind words in his obituary are 100% accurate. These words described him just as I remembered him. He was a stellar student and great friend. I am certain that he was an outstanding physician . God rest his soul

We are saddened to hear of John's passing. Our heartfelt condolences to Colleen and John's entire family. He was a good man. We had the opportunity to be around him when he came to Connecticut to visit. I had the great day of golf a numbers of years ago and will always remember that day. This Gentle healer and his dear Friend Dr. Sam, saved my life and not a doubt. This Dr gave me a challenge after the removal of a leg to build up upper body. The way he did it was both fun, funny and a true challenge ! As a Retired PA today I knew what he was doing but took the time to do it ! Life saving ? No doubt! Dr. John and Dr. Sam !! Blessings ! Dr. JV! My heart is .. Heaven awaits you !..Blessings to Beautiful Family !

I am so sad to see that he passed away. I am glad that he is no longer suffering. I cannot thank him enough for taking care of my mother. She had severely blocked carotid arteries, which he took care of. She called him her boyfriend and recognized him as Dr V

My heart is brokenThis has been my vascular doctor for the past 19 years when he found a 90% blocked carotid artery on the right side of my neck at just the age of 39, yes that's right 39..I was the youngest patient he's ever had.. the sad thing is, is that he's my age as well.. he has got me through some of my darkest days and God I am going to miss him so much, the trust and faith that I had in this doctor was like no other. I am totally crushed
My deepest condolences to his wife and children
R.I.P Dr.Vignati you saved my life I wish I could have saved yours
