I worked with Joe at Grand Union Champagne's in the very early seventies. I enjoyed how he interacted with our customers. I attended a couple of Patriot's games with him at Schaffer Stadium and visited his and Loraine's house for a pool party. He was very proud of his heritage as I recollect. I often travel through Allenstown and have wondered how he was doing and saddened by his death, but glad to know he had a long life. I am sure he enjoyed every minute of it.
