Kayla Staples Obituary
She was born in Rochester on September 22, 1990, the daughter of Bonnie (Chorba) Daigle and Bradley Staples, and was a lifetime resident of Lebanon. She was a sophomore at Noble High School, and was a communicant of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Rochester.
Kayla cherished spending time with her mother, family and friends, especially during her illness. She took great joy in her “Big Blue” Ford pickup given to her for her birthday. She liked hanging out with her friends and family, music, shopping, auto racing and four-wheeling. She enjoyed listening to the band “Spent”, and liked playing drums, having taken lessons from band member, and very close friend, Mark Kenney. Just recently, she attended the NASCAR Nextel Cup Races in Loudon, where she met both Kasey Khane and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
Two weeks prior to her death, she was honored with a large birthday party, which included close family friend Tim Bernard parachuting in.
She was pre-deceased by her grandfather, Stephen Chorba, in 1999.
Family members include her mother, and best friend, Bonnie (Chorba) Daigle, and her fiance Robert Desrochers of Lebanon; her father, Bradley Staples of Waterboro, Maine; two step-sisters, Alex and Abbie Staples of Waterboro, Maine; her grandparents, Patricia Chorba of Venice, Florida, Wayne and Pauline Staples of Sanford, Maine, and Karen Brown of Waterville, Maine; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. She also leaves her beloved pets, dogs Kealea and Fritzie and cat, Peanut.
Visitation at H.J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester will be Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
It has been suggested that those who wish may direct memorial donations to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, Mass. 02115.

I wonder where you would be, if you would have children yet. you would be so proud of Tia and Nicki they are both beautiful Mom's, wife's and just amazing women.
