Kevin Frew Obituary

Kevin Frew

Boscawen, NH - Kevin Frew Boscawen, NH December 13, 1956 – August 4, 2025

Kevin Frew, 68, of Boscawen, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 5:01 p.m., with his brother by his side, after courageously facing dementia. He received compassionate care at Granite VNA Hospice and was surrounded by the love of his family.

Kevin was born on December 13, 1956, to Arthur and Elizabeth Frew. He graduated from Merrimack Valley High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force, stationed in Michigan until 1980.

Kevin spent much of his career serving the community through positions at Seth Thomas Clocks, the Capitol Theater, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, from which he retired in 2018. He was an accomplished guitarist who played with the River Hill Band, and his passion for music was matched only by his love of snowmobiling through the winter trails of Pittsburg, NH.

Kevin was a devoted family man who celebrated his loved ones' accomplishments and supported them with kindness and humor. He was known for being always ready for a snack, quick to compliment the chef, and just as ready to lend a hand cleaning up. His warmth, encouraging words, and genuine enthusiasm for the successes of his family and friends made him a source of comfort and joy to those around him. His storytelling and generous spirit made every gathering feel like home.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Frew; his daughter, Lindsey Frew, and her children, Skyler and Dustin; his stepdaughter, Andrea Pelillo, and her husband, Peter, and their children, Savanna and Nicolas; his stepson, Kendrick Waddell, and his child, David Austin; five additional stepchildren; many step-grandchildren; and his brothers, Jerry and Stacy Frew, and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents; his partner, Freda Shirley Jewell; his grandson, Anthony Pelillo; and his nephew, Ryan Frew.

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Merrimack Valley Youth Soccer "Goals for All" Fund, supporting scholarships for children in youth sports-a cause close to Kevin's heart.
