Leland F. Briggs

Epsom, NH - Leland F. Briggs, 79, of Epsom, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, July 7, 2023.

Born on December 31, 1943 in Manchester, he was the son of the late Albert J. and Eleanor F. (Lear) Briggs.

Leland was a licensed electrician and he worked for many years with Huckins Oil Company doing plumbing and heating before going into business for himself with Lee's Plumbing and Heating. He enjoyed listening to music, mostly 70's classic rock of the Beatles, Beach Boys and Elvis. Leland also worked part-time as a police officer for the Town of Epsom for four years.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Michael L. Briggs and a brother, Ronald Briggs.

Mr. Lee was a great man and we all loved him. He was always happy to see the family on Sunday dinners or any holiday we all spent together. When ever we would go over to visit you would always find him out on his tractor working around the yard or barn, always busy doing something. He will be missed be all that knew and loved him. It was an honor to know him and call him a true friend.
