Leo Kneeland Obituary
Concord, NH - In the early morning of October 24, 2023, Leo A. Kneeland passed away after a tough battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was 87 years old.
Nothing made Leo happier than reading his collection of books, from history to chickens and pigeons. He was content!
Leo was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a son, and his beloved grandparents.
Leo is survived by his wife MaryAnn (Belanger) Kneeland, his children Patricia Kneeland, Kathy Kneeland, Colleen Close (Brian), Susan Oldman (Mark). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Brandon, and Patrick. His great grandchildren, Isaiah, Olivia, Lucas, and Vienna. Several nieces and many loving friends.
Leo will always be remembered as Hon, Dad, Bumpa, Governor, and the Old Goat.
You are free now. Go fly with the butterflies.
Services will be held at Christ the King Parish in Concord, NH at 10:00 am on November 13th. Graveside services will be private.

Leo, you were like family to us. Always curious & knowledgeable about a vast array of topics, but most interested in the old west. I hope you meet Wyatt Earp in your heavenly travels! We miss you dearly already.

My condolences to Leo's family. I was a Corrections Officer Tranee at the State Prison in Concord in 1985 where Leo was a Lieutenant and trained us when just starting.
One thing I remember about him is was always very calm and very professional, especially to us.
May he rest in Peace.
