Richard Hall Obituary
Rick was born on June 10, 1969, in Concord, and was the beloved son of Richard and Nancy (McCarney) Hall. He was a life-long resident of Henniker.
Rick was the owner of the Country Spirit restaurant and President of the Henniker Chamber of Commerce. To say he was liked and loved by many would be an understatement. Rick was an avid Red-Sox and Bruins fan and a big supporter of the New England College Rugby Team. Rick loved the outdoors, summiting all the New Hampshire White Mountains 4,000 footers and enjoyed, rock climbing, ice climbing, cycling and skiing where for many years he could be seen skiing down Tuckermans Ravine in the early spring time. Rick was known for his generosity and community commitment, always willing to help a friend, stranger or anyone in need, donating to dozens of charities each year.
He is survived by his sister, Tina and her husband, Chris Wohlfart, Orlando, Fla.; Brother Bruce Hall, Henniker; nieces, Brieauna Dann and Abby Wohlfart; nephews, Ryan Hall and Kyle Wohlfart; aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
There will be a celebration of his life on Friday, March 18, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Country Spirit restaurant in Henniker.
Donations can be made in his honor to Henniker Police Department, 340 Western Avenue, Henniker, or the Henniker Fire Department or Henniker Rescue
Squad, 216 Maple St., Henniker, NH 03242.

My brother, I know you would not want me to shed a tear, but how can I not? There is a hole in my heart that is so unbearable right now. I know the tears will eventually subside, but I will never stop missing you, never stop loving you. I'm so proud to be your sister but even more fortunate that we were the best of friends.
What matters is the dash between your years.Your dash was SO remarkable, YOU were remarkable. I always knew you were an amazing, caring, giving person. What I didn't know about you is HOW amazing and caring and giving you actually were. The stories of how you touched so many do bring comfort, and a smile now and then.

Ricky, you have been a part of my life and my family for as long as I can remember. I looked up to all of you guys so much when I was a little kid. I will never forget your smile, laughter and kindness. You were generous and thoughtful through one of my families' worst experiences. I will never forget that. And now that you're gone, you're amongst so many people that we both loved and adored. I truly hope they welcomed you with open arms. Rest in Peace, and thank you for being a part of so many special memories that I will treasure for the rest of my life. You embodied what a good fiend, and good person, are supposed to be. I just heard about Rick's passing. Country Spirits was our go to place when we lived in Henniker. Rick and his crew made it feel like Cheers & I never found him without a smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. CS won't be the same without Rick's smiling face.

Rick, I'll never forget that you introduced me to climbing. You brought me to my first boulder on Old Concord Rd. And we went to the Mecca of rock climbing together - "Yosemite"!
We've climbed a lot of rocks along the way Rick..you'll be with me every time I chalk up brother, as long as I'm still climbing - you will be too!!!

40+ years of funny memories with Ricky. We held hands on the bus once in jr high, sunbathed in my back yard, skied together, played high school sports together, and played practical jokes on each other. He was one of a kind, a best friend to everyone, and he will always be in my heart. I think I speak for everyone who ever met him when I say you can't think of Rick without laughing at something he said that will stick with you forever. A big hug to the Hall family.
