Robert Dyment Obituary

CONCORD - Mr. Robert E. Dyment, 94, of Pembroke and Concord, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2017 in the care of the Concord Hospice House.
Born in Concord, Robert was the son of the late Willis S. Dyment, Sr. and Ethel H. Dyment. He was a WWII veteran and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Robert was a member of the White Mountain Lodge #5, I.O.O.F., American Legion Post #21 and VFW Post #1631. He enjoyed baseball, golf, bowling, puzzles, reading and cards but most of all his family.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Willis S. Dyment, Jr., Fred Dyment, Glen Dyment and John Dyment.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jacqueline (Strickford) Dyment; his children, Brenda Dyment of Concord, Leslie Dyment of Manchester, Gregg Dyment of Phoenix, AZ and Robert W. Dyment of Epsom. He was the brother to Ray Dyment and Betty Lou Collins, both of Concord. He was also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com
