Shaune Milligan Obituary

Shaune Milligan, 49, died July 4, 2014 in a tragic accident.

He was born in Concord September 20, 1964, the son of Ronald and Marjorie (Turck) Milligan.

Shaune grew up in Canterbury then moved to Concord in 1992. He worked for Foster Concrete Forms for 18 years as a Laborer/Foreman, then Bates Home Services.

He was an avid reader who could always be found with a book in his hand. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, doing crossword puzzles, and because of his exceptional ability with numbers, he was a whiz at cribbage.

He is survived by his mother; sister Mindy Backon of Concord; brother Kevin Turck of Concord and Mike Milligan of Loudon; and cousins, nephews and nieces.

Shaune was a kind, gentle soul who could be the first to help if you needed anything. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed getting into mischief. He will be terribly missed by his family, friends, and all who's lives he touched.

The family will be having a private remembrance day at a later date, per Shaune's request.

Donations in his memory can be made to The Friendly Kitchen, 2 South Commercial Street, Concord, NH 03301; First Congregational Church (homeless shelter), 177 N. Main Street., Concord, NH 03301.

I wish that the sorrow I have over Shaune's loss would help you in some way. He was a good kid with a big heart, and I thought the world of him. Please accept my condolences to the family for this tragic loss. I know that time will eventually begin to heal some of the hurt in your hearts. It would be an honor if you were to include Carey and me when you celebrate his life.

Shaune was part of the crew that helped make our newly purchased house a home. He was always working hard and a good guy to laugh with. He was a great guy.
