Eda Prescott Obituary

Eda Mains Prescott passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025.

Originally from Lansdale, PA, Eda was a longtime resident of Savannah. She worked as an X-ray technician at Candler Hospital for many years before retiring two years ago. Eda was a beloved mother, friend, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a passion for gardening and was known as an amazing cook. She is deeply missed.

Eda is survived by her son, Daniel S. Prescott, of Savannah, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eda was the sweetest person ever, originally meet Eda back when I was a Xray student at Candler hospital years ago, Eda was so kind and helpful, she was amazing with the students and we loved her! She was such a hard worker. The kindest most generous soul ever. RIP Eda; miss and love yah.

My beautiful grandmother

She was so strong kind loving and always there for anyone. Her memory will always be remembered. I learned so much from her since I was a baby and thankful my daughter got to meet her.
