Joe Wayman Wrenn

Birth: June 24, 1957

Death: October 6, 2025

The baby of 6 children, Joe Wayman Wrenn was born to the late Leroy Albert Wrenn and Fronia Collins Wrenn on June 24, 1957, at the Telfair Women's Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, he was raised in Savannah and graduated from Savannah High School in 1976. He spent over 40 years working in the printing trade in the area. He married the love of his life on September 19, 1981, at Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Savannah and welcomed the second love of his life, a daughter Kristina a few years later. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Fronia Wrenn; a brother, Herbert Wren; his mother-in-law, Betty Wilson and brother-in-law, Lester Ray Bryant. Survived by his wife, Sherry Wrenn and daughter, Kristina Wrenn of Savannah, Georgia; siblings, Sara Blocker of Tampa, Florida, James Earl Wrenn of Savannah, Hugh Wrenn of Richmond Hill, and Peggy Wrenn of Savannah. Two granddogs, a grandcat, a host of nieces and nephews and multiple friends that became family along the journey.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5-7pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia. A private graveside burial will be planned and announced at a later date.

In remembrance of Joe, spend a moment and appreciate the time with family, friends, or your beloved pets.
