Terrence M. "Terry" Dotson

CANAL LEWISVILLE: Terrence Michael "Terry" Dotson, 26, of Canal Lewisville passed away early Tuesday morning from injuries received in a vehicular accident. Born August 4, 1983 in Coshocton, he is the son of John R. Dotson of Coshocton and Kelly L. (Tatro) Dotson of Gnadenhutten.
Terry attended Ridgewood Schools and was a bridge construction worker for the W.M. Brode Bridge Company. On April 18, 2009 he married Evelyn Cheri Hammond who survives. Terry loved to fish and hunt, play and watch sports. He loved to give hugs and to have fun. His children were his pride and joy.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents, are daughter, Arianna Cheri Dotson, age 4; son, Bryor Michael Dotson, 6 months; three brothers, Jim (Jennifer) Dotson, of Kent, Matt (Lynette) Dotson, Coshocton, Devlin Dotson of Coshocton; sister, Haley Dotson of Coshocton; and grandmother, Linda Cabot of West Lafayette. Terry was loved and will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
In addition to grandparents, Terry was preceded in death by a daughter, Bailee Ann Dotson, two months.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2010 at Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Jim Dotson officiating. Interment will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m., Monday prior to the Memorial Service at the Free Funeral Home.
Friends and relatives are invited to a time of food and fellowship at Plainfield School from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, April 19, 2010.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memoriums may be made to the Terry Dotson Memorial Fund for his children, in care of Home Loan Savings Bank, 503 W. Main St., West Lafayette, Ohio 43845. Envelopes are available at Free Funeral Home.
