Jodi Kay (Jackson) Ozio, 43 of Midway, TX, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Dallas, TX. A celebration of her life is scheduled for 10AM on Friday, August 25th at The First Baptist Church in Madisonville, TX with a private family burial to follow at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, TX. Bro. Joshua Crutchfield will officiate. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 24th from 5-7PM at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, TX.
Jodi was born on September 19, 1973 in Houston, TX to Darrell and Jane (Hurst) Jackson. She graduated from Conroe High School and worked for many years as a legal secretary in both Conroe and Madisonville.
Jodi was loved by many, but especially by her husband, Joe. She was his best friend and the love of his life. Jodi loved and served the Lord passionately. Her faith left a lasting, positive impact on both her family and community. Memories of her generosity, sense of humor, and Christ-like love will be cherished always.
Jodi was preceded in death by her daughter, Tristan Ozio and her mother, Jane Jackson.
Jodi is survived by her husband, Joe Ozio, her daughter, Sabrina Vlahos and her husband Jonathan; her son, Tommy Joe Ozio, her father, Darrell Jackson and his wife Bobbye, and her brothers, Steve Jackson and Jeff Jackson.
Serving as pallbearers are Joe Keim, Auburn Rose, Curtis Tucker, Greg Lopez, Jason Zylman, and Mike Corley.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Mary Lindsey, Peggy Carey, Annette Andrews, Pam Bodenhaimer, Sindy Bankhead, Carrie Rose, Cherie Spangler, Ann Fregia, Jana Corley, Kiley Zylman, and Angela Culbreth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Hope Pregnancy Center of Brazos Valley in College Station, TX.
