age 58, passed away due to complications from pneumonia on April 21, 2012. He was born on September, 16, 1953 in Dixon, IL. Michael was a devoted father and served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He was a dedicated employee at HEB in Conroe. Mike loved his son Mike Jr. and dog Abraham. Michael was preceded in death by his father Richard Saunders Sr. and mother, Darlene Spangler and his brother Daniel L. Saunders. He is survived by his son, Michael Saunders, Jr.; brothers, Richard Saunders and wife Karen of McHenry IL, Jim Saunders of Woodstock, IL, and Clifford Spangler Jr., and wife Tammy of Nederland, TX; sisters, Cindy Fletcher and husband Tim of St. Charles, MO, Linda Horch and husband Eddie of O'Fallon, MO, Susan Giles of Montgomery, TX, Tammie Donlevy and husband Mike of Montgomery, TX, Terry Saunders and husband Jack of Begota, TX, Sally Janssen and husband Roland of Conroe, and Melissa Janssen and husband Mike of Moses Lake, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N. Frazier, Ste. 115 in Conroe. The family would like to especially thank Don Armstrong and family, Ricky Morton and family, and all of Michael's coworkers at HEB for their love and support.
