Olee Teague, age 88, of Brady, Texas, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, in Brady. Olee was born on January 3, 1938, in Conroe, Texas, to Roy Young and Josephine (East) Young. She grew up in Conroe. She moved from Burnet to Brady in`1981. She married Ewell Teague on September 16, 1982 in Brady. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for local nursing homes for several years, retiring in 1999. She loved to do anything that involved being with her family, like watching the grandkids or family reunions. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, crocheting, fishing, dancing and painting. She was very active with the Hillbilly Hits Fan Club for several years and served on the Board of Hillbilly Hits Fan Club. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. She attended the Pentecostal church.

A graveside service for Olee Teague will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:00am at Camp San Saba Cemetery in Camp San Saba with John Veitch officiating. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels. Olee is survived by her sons Clark Bartlett, Clayton Wernecke and wife Linda, Fred Wernecke, and Lawrence "Buddy" Wernecke; daughters Barbara Favela and husband Ruben, Amanda Veitch and husband John; brother John Young; grandchildren Michele Goldman and husband Frank, Lonnie Ray McMullin, Krystal Tully and husband Ty, Ervin "Scooter" McMullin and wife Keyla, T.J. Blair, Trey Braune, Lisa Vorhies; great grandchildren Kiley (Rayah) McMullin, Justice Duque, Jacob Wernecke, Evan McMullin Kaydence Tully, Michaela Tabor, Easton McMullin, Whitlee Adams, Chevelle Blair, Silas Blair, Tatum Blair, and Haze Blair; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ewell Teague, one brother, two sisters, daughter Carol Ann, sons Tommy Teague and Charles Wernecke. Memorial contributions in memory of Olee Teague may be made to the Hillbilly Hits Fan Club.
