Michael Singleton Obituary

Michael Singleton, 80, died in his home on June 26, 2022 after a long illness. Susan May Singleton, his wife of 31 years was at his side.

Michael was born in Houston, TX. He served in Vietnam and spent many years as a tugboat captain on the Mississippi and many other waterways. He was the longtime owner of Salty's in Conroe, TX where he and Susan held many fundraisers for area charities.

In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his son, James Singleton, daughters, Sharon Johnson & Jennifer Singleton; stepsons, John Townsend (Jenna), Andrew Knauf (Mandy), brother-in-law, James S. May (Veronica); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Michael was an endowed member of Conroe Masonic Lodge #748, A.F. & A.M. He was also a Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest making donations in name of Michael to Shriners Texas Children's Hospital or to the charity of your choice.
