Thomas James Wagner

1941 - 2025

Thomas James Wagner, known by many as "Tommy" or "Joe", went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 14th, 2025 in Madisonville, TX at the age of 84. He went peacefully in his sleep.

Born in Willis, TX to Charlie and Mary Wagner in 1941, Joe attended Willis High School and worked for Reynolds Metal Company. Joe never met a stranger and he marked his community for decades as a resolute friend and kind-hearted man. All who had the blessing of knowing him can, and will, attest that he left an unforgettable impression. More than anything on this earth, Joe Wagner lived for his friends and family and to his very last day, he gave his time and his thoughts and his prayers to those he cared about.

Thomas James Wagner is preceded in death by; his wife, Brenda Auld Wagner, his brother, Phillip Andrew Wagner, his sister, Dorothy Wagner Swiech, and his niece, Diane Wagner Konieczny. He is survived by; his daughter, Cheryl Wagner Williams and her family - John Williams, Jaclyn Fholer, Caitlyn Bellot, Isaac Williams, Jonathan Williams, and Mikayla Williams, his nephew, Randy [mid] Wagner and his daughter - Shelby Wagner, his great-nephews Adam and Kyle Konieczny, and many grandchildren.

Visitation is 3pm-6pm on Sunday, 11/23. Funeral is 11am-12pm on Monday, 11/24. Both events at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, TX.
