Rev. Donald Ray Holland, 75, of Pottsville, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was born on November 16, 1949, in Pottsville to Troy and Edith Mae Coffman Holland. On July 29, 1967, he married Brenda Brock in Russellville, Arkansas.
Rev. Holland was a retired salesman with A1 Tire and was known for his devotion as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. A member of Victory Assembly of God, he served as the pastor of South New Hope Assembly of God from 1985 to 1989. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, working with cattle, telling jokes, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Iva Jane Sanders, Marie McClure, Minnie Louise Holland, and Ruthie Heflin; two brothers, Thomas Areland Holland and Thomas Junior Holland; his in-laws, James and Flora Brock; and a close friend, Rev. Glen McGuire.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Holland of Pottsville; his daughter, Lisa Titsworth (Randy) of Pottsville; two grandchildren, Clayton Titsworth (Sami) of Pottsville and Tori Pfiefer (Drake) of Atkins; three great-grandchildren, Cash Titsworth, Levi Titsworth, and Reese Pfiefer; his brother, Robert Holland (Patricia) of Pottsville; his sister, Donna Taylor of Pottsville; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews and a longtime family friend, Linda Stuart.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Humphrey Chapel, with Rev. Mike Chisum officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville, under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
