Evie Lee Minnie Williams, age 65, of Russellville passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville.
She was a member of the East 16th Street Church of Christ in Russellville where she was a member for more than 40 years. Evie enjoyed being with her family, church family, hunting, fishing and spending time with her friend going to second hand stores and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her father, J.J. Minnie; two brothers, Eddie Justine and Ronnie Minnie; and one daughter, Stephanie Henderson.
Survivors include her mother, Leacel Minnie of Danville; her husband, of 51 years, Jackie Williams of Russellville; her daughter, Marsha Meador (Tony) of Russellville; granddaughters, Kaitlin Meador of Tulsa, Okla., Meranda Reeves of Oklahoma, Ashleigh Deason of Russellville; grandsons, Brayden Meador of Russellville, Landen Meador of Russellville, Skyler Henderson of Russellville; brothers, Gerald Minnie (Billie) of Ola, Jerry Minnie of Plainview; sisters, Linda Rose (Carol) of Ola, Kay Short (Eddie) of Danville, Charlie Minnie of Scranton; four nieces; nine nephews; and a special friend, Brenda Harper of Russellville.
Graveside services are being held at 10 a.m. today at Oakland Cemetery in Ola with Mike Pittman officiating. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the Dardanelle Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Ola.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Minnie, Eddie Short, Jerry Minnie, Jimmy Foster, Jimmy Foster Jr. and Tony Meador.
Honorary pallbearer will be Charlie Minnie.
