Jaunita Estelle Creasy Bewley, age 95, of Pottsville, died June 24, 2022, at Dardanelle Nursing Center. She was born July 12, 1926, in Portageville, Mo., to Henry Ambrose and Lila Estelle Creasy.
She was a wife and mother. She retired from ConAgra Foods after 27 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Roy N. Bewley; a daughter, Mayta Jane Bewley; a son, Bishop L. Bewley; a granddaughter, Pamela Jane Caudle; two great-grandsons, Joshua Damron and Jackson Lambert; four brothers, Alfred Grimmitt, John Henry, William Leonard and James A. Creasy; four sisters, Inez Lumley, Emily Rose Creasy, Rosa Lee Watkins and Betty A. Mangum.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Roy B. and Terry Bewley of Baileyton, Ala., and James C. and Kathy Bewley of Atkins; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lavella N. Dornan of El Dorado, and Hilda M. and Howard Caudle of Russellville; a brother, Bobby Gene Creasy of Centerville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren, LaTonya E. Damron, Tony E. Sims Jr., Halcon D. Bewley, Aaron B. Bewley, Adam L. Caudle, Tad N. Bewley, Nicole M. Thomas, Michelle Adams, Roy L. Bewley, Billy M. Dornan and A.J. Bewley; numerous great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces; and best friends, Connie, Randy and Samuel Hollis.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Shinn Chapel with Deacon Jerry Williams officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m., until service time at the chapel.
