Lucinda Lynn Garrett, age 40, of Booneville, passed from this life on Friday, to be with her Lord and Savior on June 18, 2021, in Little Rock. She was born Sept. 18, 1980 in Enid, Okla.
She was an X-Ray Technologist at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Booneville. She was a second mother to all her friends' children, she poured her love into their lives. She had a serving heart and enjoyed volunteering her time and was devoted to many different things and events such as Vacation Bible School.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Catherine Freeman; and paternal grandfather, Jessie Carol Franklin.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., today, at the First Baptist Church in Booneville, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday at the First Baptist Church in Booneville.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Dustin Garrett of the home; one daughter, Linley Garrett of the home; two sons, Drew Garrett and Roberto Montoya both of the home; parents, Clyde and Donna Franklin of Booneville; one brother, Shayne Franklin of San Angelo, Texas; one sister, Nichole Franklin of Booneville; paternal grandmother, Rosetta Johnson of Booneville; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Pallbearers: Trent, Ty and Dax Goff, Mark Wooldridge and Ethan Wooldridge, Joe Standridge, Bill Brasher and Robert Staton.
Lucinda is a woman who needs no last name. The women that Lucinda worked with commented that she was their role model. When they would be faced with a moral decision they would think of her and what she would say or do. She was always the person that the people in her life could turn to for wise counsel. She poured her heart into the people around her.
