Melba J. Moore, age 85, of Russellville, passed away, Saturday, April 23, 2022, in Little Rock. She was born Jan. 12, 1937, in Atkins, daughter of the late William and Virdia Jordan.
Melba was a lifelong member of the Missionary Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Moore.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Johnson; sons, David and Jackie Moore, and Tony and Becky Moore; three grandchildren, Caleb and Jodie Moore, Jacob and Jenny Moore, and Hannah and F. John; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial is being held at 10 a.m. today at Atkins City Cemetery with Tony Moore and David Moore officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
