Dear Cookie, I'm so very shocked to hear about your loss. Carl and I first met at DPSC later DSCP in South Philly back in 1984. We became friends from day one!!! He was not only a GREAT Guy, but a wonderful human being!! He loved to talk about Katie and Carl, so much so that I felt like I watched them grow over the years!!! I pray that the CREATOR makes things easy for your family during this time of saddness. Know for sure that you all have my deepest condolences.

Carl did God's work each and every day working in the medical directorate. Everytime I encountered him, he was refined, genteel, gracious, humorous and outwardly friendly. One of the warmest men with the kindest heart I've ever met. What an amazing man and great American. Gosh I will miss him but his memory will be with me forever.

I worked with Carl when I first went to DPSC back in '82. He taught how to first use a PC. I later became a UNIX system administrator so you could say he was instrumental in my career. Still remember he had a great sense of humor.

My condolences go out to the Maunz family. Carl and I worked together for many years and shared our interests in computers and sports especially talking about Katie and softball and my sons baseball and hockey activities. Even after my retirement we had kept in contact by email. Carl was more than co-worker he was a true friend who I'll sorely miss.

Carl was a legend in Medical Logistics and he trained many young officers. He is missed already but his efforts to streamline processes will live on for many years through those he mentored and trained. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Marsha Langlois

Condolences to the Maunz Family ... Cookie and Katie. Carl was a dedicated and hardworking co- worker for so many years. I have missed our conversations at work about both sports and family. Years back, we chatted frequently about coaching, softball, and the respective play of our daughters, Katie and Amy. He was very proud of Katie's accomplishments. I have missed those chats since Carl's retirement, but always enjoyed and looked forward to his posts on Facebook where we chatted frequently about Philly sports. I will really miss those chats. RIP Dear Carl

To Cookie, Katie & Carl..... My heart is saddened & goes out to you and for the pain you are now going through with the loss of your husband and father and friend. Carl's spirit will always live on inside of each of you and when you close your eyes, he will be there, in memory & spirit, with you. Trust me because I feel Patty, too.
Jesus has called our loved ones home and we must all go on knowing that we now have a Saint in heaven interceding for us. May our Risen Lord always be with you.
