Uncle Danny was always such a wonderful part of my life. Always there for my family--for a ride, a tastycake and our port in the storm or just to make us laugh. He and Aunt Jenny must have a very special place in heaven as they will always have a special place in my heart.
With love,
Norma Orfield Hitchner

My condolences to the Pilla and Orfield familes, and to the Legionnaires at Post 372 in Cherry Hill. Although I never met Mr. Pilla, I'd heard much of him in years gone by, enough now that I think of it to wish that I had met him. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on your loss.

My heart will always hold a special place for Uncle Danny. Throughout my childhood, Uncle Danny was one of the few people who gave me unconditional love. He was always there to drive my sisters, brother and I to school, CCD, or the movies. Uncle Danny seemed to always be there to repair our broken cars and to lend a helping hand to whatever needed to be done. He even bought my sisters and I various colored headbands which made us very happy. Without a doubt, Uncle Danny's greatest gift was his sense of humor. He had the ability to make people laugh at any given situation. I will miss our talks on the telephone and visits to your house. I know you are getting the royal treatment in heaven because you served others so well in your life. I am blessed to have known you.
Thank you for being my Uncle Danny.
Peace and love forever,
Loretta

I have so many wonderful memories of my "Uncle Danny." He was a wonderful man, my family depended on him so much. He often would pick us up from school when my dad was at work. I even remember him taking me to Philadelphia to take a required test so I could get into Nursing school. What would we have done without Uncle Danny? I don't know.
Uncle Danny along with his wife, Aunt Jenny have a very special place in my heart. I know they are enjoying each other again.I know God had his arms wide open for Uncle Danny saying "come, my faithful and loving servant."
I am sorry I can't be there physically tomorrow but my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this hard time.
Love,
Linda Orfield Broome
