Lois Ann Geitz (nee Hindsley), of West Deptford, on March 14, 2013. Aged 84 years.
Legacy
A vivacious and caring lady, Lois was the type who made friends easily. She was a 65 year member of the Thorofare Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Gloucester County Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary and past president and 50 year member of the NJ State Fireman's Association Ladies Auxiliary. Prior to retirement, Lois worked as the Senior Claims Adjuster for the State of NJ, Dept. of Labor & Industry for 20 years, retiring in 1992. Lois loved everything Irish and traveled to Ireland many times during her life. Watching figure skating, trying her luck at the casino and reading Agatha Christie novels were things that Lois enjoyed.
Family
She is the beloved wife of the late John W. Geitz; devoted mother of Michele Geitz (Marge Vanderhoff) and John W. Geitz, Jr. (Maryann); loving sister of Carol DeLozier (Charles) and loving grandmother of Hunter.
Farewell Service
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Thorofare Fire Co., Ladies Auxiliary, 117 Blue Heron Dr., West Deptford, NJ 08086.
